Pastor Max V. Jackson Sr.
Pastor Max V. Jackson, Sr. grew up on the south side of Chicago with his parents and eight siblings. He is the youngest of the eight, but has always possessed the soul of someone older with vision and much wisdom. He was saved under his Mother's dinning room table at the age of 12 and has always had the anointing of the Lord on his life. He is the father of one son (Max Jr.) and has been married to his wife for 23 years, they reside in Riverdale, Illinois.
Max became Pastor of Home Mission A.C.O.G. on January 27, 2019. He succeeded this role from Pastor Geneva Maten. Pastor Max has a "whatever it takes" attitude working for the Lord. He is dedicated and strong willed to have this Body of Christ operating in every aspect of God's will.

rings not only from his lips every Sunday, but is embedded in his heart to live by every word that proceeded out fo the mouth of the Lord... "God wrote it, we are to do it without excuse."
Pastor Max's teaching, ministering and singing is led by the Holy Spirit and he provokes his congregation to stand on their feet and always give God , his due praise!
Pastor Max uses real life experiences to further bring comfort to his congregation that they will never live a hopeless life. He is not ashamed to share is testimonies of hardship and how the Grace and Mercy of the Lord constantly covers us. He is a true inspiration and we are blessed to have him!!
